Considering that I have commenced our month-and-a-half long Christmas job, I shan't have much time to dedicate to this blog. Actually, between coming home after eleven hour shifts and trying to get some training done after that, I doubt I'll even feel like blogging. But I'll try.
I'm too brain dead to think about something to write myself, so I'll link and interesting article instead.

I want to apologize for having slacked in my blogging these past few days. We've had an extra long weekend here in Italy ( the 1st of November is holiday) and I've been lazing around with my family.
Back to business.
See you guys tomorrow.
Ciao, Ezy

Sunday, September 19, 2010
Hey guys, I know I haven't blogged much this past week, so I just thought I'd share some things that have kept me away from here.
First off, I've finnished exams! For now at least. They went great and I'm so incredibly relieved that's over with (for now)
I've been reading lots and lots, my head spins sometimes when I can't keep up with all the plots from the different books (hah). I'm finishing The Millenium Trilogy and might I say that I love it. I was also enthusiastic about the Swedish movie based on the first book.
Lisbeth Salander is by all means my heroine.
I've taken advantge of my free time to catch up on movies and TV shows a lot. My sisters and I love watching The A-Team and Criminal Minds together, while I've also been watching a lot of old movies like Nosferatu, The Innocents, and the FIRST movie ever made, Frankenstien (1910). What I love about old movies is the enthusiasm the people making them had. They were the pioneers of a new and incredible art form, and are just electrifiying.

We've been to two especially beautiful fairs here in the north of Italy, fist the Mostra Mercato Di Bienno, a small mountain town which organizes a fair each year where craftsmen can showcase their work. It happens all through the town, but most of the expos are in small cave-sort of tunnels that dot Bienno.

The other fair is called Festa di Santa Croce and takes place in Montisola, a tinsy winsy island in the Lake of Iseo. From the 14th to the 19th of September, the island is decorated with paper machè flowers, and I'll tell you, it's lovely. Unfortunately, it only takes place once every five years...

Can you believe all those flowers are fake? Wow. I hear it takes a year and a half to get this together, no wonder it's only once every five years.
So, that's been a little part of my life these months I wanted to share with you guys. Thanks for following this blog. Till next post.
Ciao ciao.
Oh by the way, we had homemade sushi for lunch today, you see I have the luck of having a Japanese sister-in-law. Delicious.

Everything and Nothing

I am seriously starting to question the effectiveness of going to bed purposely early to be able to study the next morning if I can't sleep. Bah.
Other than that, things have been quite interesting. We've been having friends over for the past month or so, and now my brother and hie family have gotten back from South Africa as well. Things here are never boring...and crowded!
The darling nephew.
I've managed to develop a healthy obsession with electronica, electro-pop, new wave, trip-hop, or really anthing with a synthezier in it. My newest find is Isao Tomita. But my personal bests are probably Portishead and Depache Mode.
Some other great music I've been delving in is folk and all it's subsets. Older italian artists were pretty great at that.
Also, something I've found rather refreshing and inspiring are anime series from the '80. The five of us younger siblings have been having a great time re-viewing those cartoons we watched as lil' kids.
Our all-time favorite is Saint Seiya (Knights of the Zodiac).
Taking off for now. Back soon. If this post doesn't keep you entertained till then, I really don't know what will.
Ciao!

Just another saturday night post...
Saturday, March 20, 2010
Can you believe I'm heading off to study chemistry soon enough? Puah! Saturday night's are overrated, and my head hurts so bad all I want to do is lay down in the dark and listen to Janis Joplin and La Roux.
By the way I am SO in love with this look from Zoe Saldana (even though it's from a while ago). Doesn't she dress so very nicely?
This BEAUTIFUL dress is RM by Roland Mouret.
Sorry for the boring boring short short post.
I'll be posting some more soon enough.
Enjoy your evening, or day, depending where you are.
Movie Week
Wednesday, March 3, 2010
So it's not like a person like me can do anything with some degree of measure right? Right. I haven't been to the movies in almost a year, and now I'm going twice in two days...
We watched Avatar today, and though I was put off by the trip most of the populace was on, I'm ultimately satisfied with it. I went into the cinema expecting some huge action movie with great effects, and found myself watching a great movie made by a visionary genius (yes with great effects too). Oh and he managed to throw in a decent storyline...koodos.
But what I am REALLY anticipating is Alice In Wonderland....Tim Burton is my man, and I don't even have to wait to watch it to know I adore it. (Now just you wait....I'll hate it....Murphy's fucking Law I say.)
Thanks for listening to this blabber. And thank you everyone who follows, comments, or just reads this blog, it's nice to know my point of view gets feedback.
Goodnight people.

Sorry for the long scilence guys, been swamped in school this past week! All I can say is I can't wait for tomorrow. I've kind of been disconnected from my beloved fashion world and spending some time right nowchecking my favorite sites and blogs, before blogging myself on something that catches my eye.
Like this...? Nah. ( I forgive you because of the bag though, Dakota...and cus you're fifteen...AND cus I think the look you had in mind was good. But this isn't).
Can't wait for Oscar night fashion!
But since we have to wait another week or so, I just want to give the worst look I have yet seen at the Awards....(drumroll)
Beyonce in House of Dereon.
Why?

Some notes
Saturday, February 6, 2010
After my epic whine the other day, I went shopping with my sisters and got me some real cute things (shoes included) spending something like 50 euro. Pretty good eh?
I will try to post pictures of all that soon enough...when I find the camera charger...cough cough.
Also, tonight I'll be posting about Marion Cotillard, as promised.
Now I'm off to work, have a good day everyone, I won't!

Boom! Slash! Splatter! (brain explosion...tough luck)
Friday, January 22, 2010School's been my latest and greatest time consumer, like for real. Meaning I haven't actually thought up anything or found anything around that I'd consider blog-worthy. And pretty much, that's that.
On a side note, my mastery of the Portuguese language is developing, now I can read and make out MOST of a conversation. Yes I feel proud yes you might not care.
Speaking of which, I just got my highlight of the day. (like in this bloody moment, and you might not care about this either, so you could navigate away for today, this whole post interests no one but me)
Evanescence released a never-before-heard-B-side to help the victims of Haiti. It's called Together Again, and I'm listening to it right now, it's totally pretty.
Should I?
Saturday, September 5, 2009
Should I be posting? I think the answer it yes. But no matter. Ozie's coming in like two days, I got a really nice bag for my birthday, I'm looking for I job a school that dosen't invlove selling my soul to whoever wants it to get the money to get in, I'm gonna party with my friends, listen to good music, read(I just got a book of the entire works of Federico Garcìa Lorca), draw, play piano, drink coffee, play with my cosin, and not mind the online world so much....oh, and also shopping.
P.S. I'll soon blog about an amazing muscian everyone should know about.

IT'S MY BIRTHDAY AND I CAN DIE IF I WANT TO!
Friday, July 17, 2009
Wow, so it's already been a year and this blog is still alive. Or more like, I am still alive. Didn't really think I'd make it intact through such a crazy year as this has been but as you can see I did(unless someone's hacking into my account and writing foolishness on my blog. In that case I'm most likely dead and you should all be mourning for me). For the most part this has been a year full of changes, crazyness, and emotional decisions. I either met great people I didn't know before, (Mel, Tina, Nat, Eman) or refreshed a bond with the ones I did know, (Ozie, Esty, Fran). I got to live in a different contry, learn a third language, and a different culture, (I'll love you forever Spain).
I had a wild, twisted, angry, funny, foolish, sad, loud, wasted, tired, difficult, emotional year. A year that I'll always remeber with a smile and nostaglia.
Happy Birthday to Me.

So, where were we?

Something about interesting, right?
Well then, I suppose now's a time as good as any other to annouce I chopped my hair (quite literally chopped if I say so myself). It happend a while ago, like, still in Spain. It's nothing TOO draastic, but quite the amout of hair is gone, as Esty would know.
I meant to post pictures of it, but I've really got nothing to put my hands on right now, so stay tuned.
I'm sorry for not providing you with any REAL updates, (Oh, except that I bought a book of Pablo Neruda's poetry, but you're probably not interested.) but such is life for now.
We all go through our respective dry spells.

Not much to say in these days, primarily because there's not much to do, except read. And when things are like this, Facebook has the annoying tendency of being a better outlet for foolish updates.
No matter, we shall change that. Make this blog a worthwhile occupant of its internet space. Yessire you can count on me.
So, where do we start? I dunno. I'll post some cool stories when I have some cool stories to post about. But for now, I think I'll go to the library.
P.S. Read Orwell, he's amazing. And listen to Rachmaninov. And Chopin. And have fun while you can.
Ciao.
