Everything and Nothing

Friday, June 4, 2010
I am seriously starting to question the effectiveness of going to bed purposely early to be able to study the next morning if I can't sleep. Bah.
Other than that, things have been quite interesting. We've been having friends over for the past month or so, and now my brother and hie family have gotten back from South Africa as well. Things here are never boring...and crowded! The darling nephew.

I've managed to develop a healthy obsession with electronica, electro-pop, new wave, trip-hop, or really anthing with a synthezier in it. My newest find is Isao Tomita. But my personal bests are probably Portishead and Depache Mode.

Some other great music I've been delving in is folk and all it's subsets. Older italian artists were pretty great at that.

Also, something I've found rather refreshing and inspiring are anime series from the '80. The five of us younger siblings have been having a great time re-viewing those cartoons we watched as lil' kids.
Our all-time favorite is Saint Seiya (Knights of the Zodiac).

Taking off for now. Back soon. If this post doesn't keep you entertained till then, I really don't know what will.
Ciao!

BEYOND lustworthy I say!

See my excitement??

You should all be able to recongize this artwork, so I won't tell you the name......

It was such a beautiful day, so I dragged my sister out to snap these shots. Of course I meant to show you guys my YSL, but the arival of my sister and her new, iconic, top of the must-have-bag lists worldwide, understandably eclipsed the poor thing. I was well meaning, and made plans for a new outfit show casing Yves, but I subsequently ran off to play "Guerrilla" with my lil' coz, and have since then been busy busy busy. It'll have to wait. I hope you understand.
Thanks for letting me spend time with the pooch sis!
P.S. Over 100 followers! Thank you too guys.

Mnozil Brass

Wednesday, February 10, 2010
Yesterday my family and I went to see such an amazing concert, I think we're still blown away.
Mnozil Brass are an Austrian septet comprised of 3 trumpets, 3 trombones, and 1 tuba. As posted other times on this blog, my brother is a musician, and of course we couldn't miss out. Never mind that it was totally grand and mind blowing. I mean, these guys entertain a crowd for two and a half hours, and never get a single note wrong.
They've got an amazing repertoire, ranging from classical to jazz, and throwing in some Michael Jackson in between.
Clap, clap, clap.
And they are UBER-funny....UBER.

Video included especially for Ozie(since I told the poor thing all about it and she feels like she missed out on the world, and I feel bad)

Handsomeness...

Fotos de Italia (para mi Ozie....)

Saturday, April 18, 2009
Si si...we're back..alll of us....plus some of Crystal's family from japan. It's great to be back! I promised Ozie lots of pictures (as you can tell from the above title) and I won't keep her hanging for long.
We haven't really done much, seeing we just got here yesterday. But we did go for pizza already...nice pizza, and my beloved library of course.
Anyway, here are some pics we took.

Happy Birthday Mommy

Friday, April 10, 2009
Si, Tanti Auguri mamma.
Well, I'm sorry that you have to be spending your birthday working away, and that I'm home hogging your computer so you'll only see this in a couple of days.
But know that your a cool mom and don't look 50.

To my Brother, yeah, he deserves it.

Well Ema, you passed both your exams, the one we were all freaked out about and the one I was sure you'd do great on (in fact you did). Anyway, bravo bravo! You're now an offically diplomated freak with a trombone! I'm sure you'll have a great career and remember to invite me over when you're the first trombone of the Berliner.

Unbelivable. (Drop it like it's hot.)

Me and Ozie are on vacation right?? Yep yep, in Italy. Cool bananas.
So we head today with Ema and Becky to go to the lake. So we're all in the car, me and my bro in the front, happily chatting away. Then I'm like, "Careful or we could smash somewhere and crahs the car and then we'll have to drag it back."
We don't get to cover like, six kilometers before, believe it or not, the wire of the accelerator breaks! Yep yep, it does. I have no luck with moters. Like last year, in Switzerland, that damned plane...but that's another story. Entirely. So anyway. the car stops, and thankfully we're not in the middle of some highway or a highly trafficated street.
We just sit there for a while, but soon, Ema has a lovely idea. Without using the acclerator, just the power of the moter, we're back on track. Yes yes.
So we just drive in the little roads, and about 2o kilometers per hour. Adorable. It took us an hour to get home. Think of that. Ozie was "flippando leches". We all were. But it was fun. And that's what counts.
Bye for now. Until the next freaky episode of "Life with Ezy."
I think, looking at my recent posts, that the new year is a rather wild one.
